Wish the weather would clear up

So our bricks have been sitting there for about 2 weeks and no bricking has been done.. Have had alot of rain this week, and the clear days have been overcast so no start :(
Sun is shining today, but it would be sat of the long weekend..

Bricks arrived about a week ago but waiting on nice weather to start bricking

Frame looks complete 21st May

They have been working hard, even through this horrible rain. Frame looks complete and all the windows are in.

Frame beings- 18/05/09

I drove by at lunch time and frame was still in same position as the weekend.

Then M drove by about 5pm to find half the frame up, all downstairs except stairwell and garage. Was nice walking through and getting a feel for the size of the rooms and the layout as Wisdom doesnt have the 35 on display.

14th May

Well no progress this week.. not sure whats going on.. all still looks the same since the weekend.. were hoping for a frame but nup.. shame too considering we have had fantastic weather this week.. one a few doors down since the weekend has had the frame and its half bricked as of today :(

9/05/09

So we went to Di Lorenzo today to pick our tiles. We choose our main floor and bathroom walls.. but when we got to the bathroom and laundry floor tiles were very disappointed in the ugly range. We had picked one last time we were there so will have to go back with that code and pray they still have it.. once we know they do we will then pick our feature tiles to match this.

Drove by our block to find a security fence around it and over the last few days they have put the storm water pipes around the house and done some work around the alfresco. Also the soil has been levelled... hoping for a frame to arrive this week!

Got a phone call from Di Lorenzo saying the time has come to choose our tiles so are going in on the weekend hopefully to pick them

6/05/09- Slab

This morning the slab was poured

4th May- Pods

M went by this evening to find they have put the waffle pods in during the day and the other frame for the slab

End of April

This weekend we did another drive by just from excitement, not thinking anything would of been done.. but were presently surrprised to see that over the weekend they had put in the pipes for the plumbing... weather is saying it will be sunny this weekend, chance of rain tuesday.. fingers crossed!
