Ready for concrete

Friday we were surprised to find the form work done ready for the concrete driveway, side path and alfresco. The electricial is pretty much complete (besides an error were waiting to be corrected) and the alarm is activated!

Went out to the house this afternoon and were ecstatic to see that most of the place has been painted. It's unbelievable how much the painters have got done since we were last there sunday. The portico, cladding and eaves have been painted on the outside, whilst the ceilings and walls have also had a coat of paint. The electricians have also been back and the downstairs lighting and electrical appears done. We also found that the rangehood had been installed and baths and toilets delivered. The only bad part is that we were too late to get there and couldnt get in to have a good look.

Preparation for paint

Last Friday they started sanding the walls in preparation for painting this week.. Few spots still need patching so were hoping they do start painting Tuesday but aren't sure if it will be ready on time.

We were told we would get the keys in a few weeks but there is still alot to be done, hopefully they start getting into it again

Went to the house today and spoke to SS, he said they are going to start sanding the inside tomorrow and will start painting on Tuesday.. the electricians will be back soon too!

We had our blinds measured up today as well!!!! hope these few weeks go quickly!

Carpenter finished!

Went by this arvo and the carpenter was just finishing up!!! he said the have started the sanding but a bit more is to be done then they can paint.. were thinking probably next week as there is still a few things that need patching from errors with the electrical.

Monday 7th Sept

The electrician was there cutting out holes for power points and light fittings. Carpenter was finally back, had finished downstairs skirting, still has to finish upstairs skirting and around some of the doors and windows. Some sanding had been done downstairs & the last vanity was installed in the ensuite.

Bathrooms finished!

Last week they finished the bathrooms on Wednesday, nothing else happened the rest of the week.
