Bricking finished!!

We went by just before lunch to find the brickies still at work... Were speaking to them and they said they would be done by this arvo so came back through to have a sticky and take some photos! very very happy. Its lovely walking through at this stage as seeing the size of all the rooms!

Bricking continues- 23/06

So they bricked the bottom floor over the first week, the second week we had nothing at all happen on site. Had some bad weather but heard that it may be due to letting the first lot of bricks settle. Tuesday on the third week of bricking they were back on site..

First week of bricking

This was the result of the first week of bricking. Sadly to say the second week (were now at Thursday) and there has been no more progress. Were thinking they might only book brickies to do one floor at a time? Sad as they had some clear weather at the beginning of the week too

M went by at midday on third day of bricking, he said they were working on the front and rear. Both looks near completion till about head height. The scaffolding was pretty much up around the house for the higher levels and they were starting to stack the bricks on it to continue.. Gosh how quickly they are going we might be bricked by end of next week!!! pls keep up nice weather!

Brickies start- 09/06/09

We got the phone call from the site supervisor this morning that the brickies had started on site.
Went by on the way home and were happy to see some of one side bricked. We were a bit worried at first what our brick colour would look like but were both extremely happy now!

So our bricks have been sitting there for about 2 weeks and no bricking has been done.. Have had alot of rain this week, and the clear days have been overcast so no start :(
Sun is shining today, but it would be sat of the long weekend..
