Well no progress this week.. not sure whats going on.. all still looks the same since the weekend.. were hoping for a frame but nup.. shame too considering we have had fantastic weather this week.. one a few doors down since the weekend has had the frame and its half bricked as of today :(
Concrete needs to cure for a few weeks,so it has time to strengthen. It will reach about 80% of its strength in 7 days. Almost 100% after 28 days. So don't worry, it will take a few weeks before the frames go up.
ReplyDeleteThe frame can go up earlier, the weight of the frame would not be a problem with the cure of the concrete...well thats what i am told lol.

Yeah most other builds that we have seen the frame is on within a couple of days. Not much weight in the timber anyway. We drove past the block this morning and the frame has been delivered so hopefully will get a start witth it on Monday.
